At only 22, Korean star Kim Ok-bin played a very sexual role in Park Chan-wook’s 2009 film Thirst. It’s the same movie in which our own Mercedes Cabral played the role of some Pinay wife whose “actions” in the film merely included saying English words in better diction, wearing these flowerful puffy clothes that effectively concealed whatever sexy shit she had, and smiling and screaming, sometimes simultaneously.
Anyway, Thirst is about a priest who becomes a victim of a failed medical experiment that turned him into some sort of a vampire. It’s more a romance-drama than a horror film, and lightyears better than whatever Twilight shit that is currently out there.
